Broadway opens its doors to Hollywood Stars

Broadway might like to keep itself apart from the dirty gossip of Hollywood, but sometimes, worlds collide.
  

Jennifer Aniston will appear on Broadway, and will reportedly join 23 other stars including Rosie Perez, Lili Taylor and SNL’s Rachel Dratch in a series of ‘shorts.’ 
  

Aniston will be among those writing, directing and acting in six, 10-minute plays at the American Airlines Theater in New York.
  

All this is part of the sixth annual, “24 Hour Plays on Broadway.”  The event will benefit Working Playground, a non-profit arts program for New York City schoolchildren.
  

Broadway has always been seen as one of the ‘must-sees’ of New York City.  This fall, musicals will dominate the sounds of Broadway.  The music of Broadway will include Stephen Sondheim, Bob Dylan, Marvin Hamlisch.
