Seussical, The Musical: Free for a Month!

A revised version of Seussical, The Musical, the hit Broadway show brought to life by the likes of Rosie O’Donnell and the various powers-that-be of Broadway, is to be brought to live in a new, revitalized version in an Off-Broadway capacity, beginning Thursday, July 19, 2007.

This revamped showing of the musical based on the books, characters and images of Dr. Seuss, formally known as Dr. Theador Geisel, wil be producd by Theaterworks USA and promises to be a truly great theatrical experience for all ages and all levels of theater-goers. With a book by Ahrens and Flatery - with the music composed by Flagery and lyrics written by Ahrens - this new showing will have a monthlong run at the Lucille Lortel Theater Off-Broadway, beginning this coming Thursday. A tremendous way to get the theater lover in all of us to surface, thanks to the fact that the showings are free, there is no way that children and parents alike would want to miss this chance to see a great show and expose themselves to the wonders of the live performing arts!
