The Farnsworth Invention Will Open on Broadway

“The Farnsworth Invention,” which premiered at the La Jolla Playhouse in San Diego, California has been slated to begin its run on Broadway on November 14, 2007. Fans of the show from its San Diego roots are sure to flock to the Big Apple to check out the show in its Broadway debut, and even those who have had no previous exposure to the show are sure to want to see it, especially with such names as Hank Azaria and Jimi Simpson attached.

Telling the story of the almost-investor of television, Philo Farnsworth, this incredible play, written by Aaron Sorkin of “The West Wing” fame, brings up the advent of television in an enaging show that you will not want to miss. Previews for this play will begin on Monday, October 15, 2007 which promise to be a good time in and of themselves, considering the fact that this play will mark Aaron Sorkin’s first return to roadway since his hit play of 1989, “A Few Good Men.”
