The notable actor from the Broadway smash hit, “Rent,” is going to spill the beans. On Aug. 9, Anthony Rapp is scheduled to sit down for a buzz session with host Seth Rudestsky on his weekly live talk show, Chatterbox. Anthony Rapp is best known for his creation of the role of the Mark Cohen character in Rent. Mark, a documentary film maker turns his lens on the lives and times of his friends as they struggle to survive and create in New York’s Alphabet Village. The plotline follows these young artists and musicians as they learn to cope with the ever present and real fear of AIDS looming over their shoulders.
Rapp has also appeared in several other theatrical productions including “Bright Lights, Big City,” “Six Degrees of Separation,” and “The Destiny of Me,” not to mention his roles in films such as “A Beautiful Mind,” “Dazed and Confused,” and “School Ties.” Rapp just recently returned to his role as Mark Cohen on Rent.
