Xanadu Is Scheduled For a Nationwide Tour

Ok, so you might have no idea how to pronounce it, but you remain curious about it.  What is this musical that has taken the New York theatre-going patrons hostage?  Xanadu has gotten so popular that now it has officially been decided that the crowd-pleasing play will tour across the country.  Beginning in the summer of 2008 Xanadu will be in theatres nationwide.  Grab your coat and hat, or a fancy dress and make a date for 2008, find out the real story as the curtain rises on Xanadu.

For those of you who absolutely can’t wait, here’s a quick synopsis.  The musical basically tells the story of one of nine muses from ancient Greece.  Don’t start yawning, this isn’t a history lesson.  In fact it combines the old with the new or somewhat new anyway.  A beautiful woman comes to earth, with a mission to inspire the greatest of artistic accomplishments-the creation of a roller disco.  Yes, we’re a few decades past that, but whose counting?  The story gets more interesting as the enchanting lady falls in love with an old friend and, she discovers that in the end she isn’t really just trying to create art, but she’s finding the desire to create and find herself.  Don’t miss the magic, get Xanadu tickets today!
