Get A Closer Look at the Jersey Boys!

The Journey to Jersey Boys is the title of a small presentation, taking place on August 13 in New York City, and it tells the personal stories of the five performers who make Frankie Valli and his family jump to life on stage.  It is a way to get to know the actors as both themselves and the characters they portray while they are dancing and singing in front of sold out audiences on Broadway.  It is a rare occurrence to get an intimate glimpse into the lives and minds of actors, as we so often are influenced by our perceptions of them playing someone else.  The presentation is a great way to not only expose the real lives of the performers but to also understand how and why they were influenced by the people they play on the stage.

Jersey Boys is a Tony Award winning musical that profiles the times of one of the most well known and successful 60’s rock groups, the Four Seasons.  It is full of outstanding musical numbers that will jolt you back a few decades to the glory days of the Four Seasons and it continually gets praise for the acting talents of its young stars.  Jersey Boys has been running on Broadway at the August Wilson Theatre for three years now and is also on tour nationwide.  It doesn’t matter what season it is, get your Jersey Boys tickets as soon as possible and don’t miss this award-winning production!
