Norbert Leo Butz to Take Lead in Mark Twain Play!

NOrbert Leo Butz, that star of the stage who theatergoers mgiht recognize as having orginated the role of “Fiyero” in the smash hit “Wicked” and also for his role as “Jamie” in the  incredible Off-Broadway musical “The Last 5 Years,” is taking on a new role, and it is one which you are not going to want to miss seeing him in! Butz will take the lead role in Mark Twain’s “Is He Dead?” which has been adapted by David Ives and will be directed by Michael Blakemore.

This show is a comedy and will open on November 29, 2007 at the Lyceum Theatre, while previews will begin on November 8, 2007. This play was written by in 1898 but remained unpublished until it was rediscovered imn 2002 by a Mark Twain scholar named Shelley Fisher Fishkin.
