Aiken to Join Spamalot!

If you love the voice of Clay Aiken, then you will be pleased to know that he is planning on joining the Broadway cast of the Tony Award winning musical “Monty Python’s Spamalot.”  What a perfect match for this budding young star who took a hold of America’s hearts after his performance on American Idol.  Aiken will be taking on the role of Sir Robin in the hilarious production, which has audiences yowling with laughter throughout the entirety of the show.  This will be Aiken’s Broadway debut and he will begin his stint on January 18, 2008.

Aiken has gone on to sell more than six million albums, co-author a book and play at six sold out concert tours.  He has also appeared on episodes of “Ed,” “Saturday Night Live,” and “Scrubs.”  This musical that Aiken joins tells the tale of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table on their quest to find the Holy Grail.  It has earned the 2005 Tony Award for Best Musical and remains a favorite of theatre going patrons in both New York and London.  It is a sure bet that the crowds will be lining up to see the recent addition to the cast of this production come the New Year.  Get your pair of Spamalot tickets from Stubhub.com.
