Are You Ready to Rock ‘n’ Roll?!

This is it; Broadway is really getting crazy now.  With the help of Tom Stoppard, the legendary theatre district in New York City will be singing tunes of sex, drugs and rock and roll.  Rock ‘n’ Roll is directed by four-time Tony Award winner Trevor Nunn and the plotline for this much anticipated play circles around the time of 1968 in Prague.  The press notes for the play state that: “Jan, the Czech student, lives for rock music, Max, the English professor, lives for Communism and Esme, the flower child, is high.  Fast forward to 1990 and the tanks are rolling out, the Stones are rolling in and idealism has hit the wall.”
