The Homecoming Comes Home to Broadway

The revival of Harold Pinter’s well known production, The Homecoming is set to begin previews tonight after a delay due to the stagehands strike.  The show will officially open on December 16 for fans to enjoy.  According to press notes, The Homecoming, “concerns the ultimate dysfunctional family presided over by its patriarch, Max, who can’t seem to keep tensions subdued when his oldest son arrives home with his new seductive bride.  It is a story of seduction and betrayal as everyone vies for the attention of the beautiful wife.”

The Homecoming made its Broadway debut in January 1967 at the Music Box Theatre.  The production went on to win four Tonys for: Best Play, Best Direction of a Play, Best Actor in a Play and Best Feature Actor in a Play.  It has since become a very popular story among theatre goers around the world who flock to see this production acted out on stages around the world.  This new “Homecoming” will be featured at the Cort Theatre which is located in Manhattan.  For more information and to buy your own pair of The Homecoming tickets visit Stubhub.com.
