Williams Brings Liveliness to Drowsy Broadway!

There is a new addition to the famed Broadway production of Drowsy Chaperone and she goes by the name of Cindy Williams.  You might know her, she is perhaps best known for her role of Shirley Feeney on the long-running ABC-TV sitcom “Laverne and Shirley.”  Tonight she will make her first bow on Broadway in the award winning musical.  Williams has been seen on stage in the national tours of Grease!, Death Trap and Moon Over Buffalo.  Some of the films she has worked on in the past include: “American Graffiti,” “Travels With My Aunt” and “The Conversation.”

According to press notes, The Drowsy Chaperone revolves around, “a modern day musical theatre addict known simply as ‘Man in Chair’ who drops the needle on his favorite cast album, the 1928 musical comedy, The Drowsy Chaperone.  The funny musical then jumps to life right in the middle of his living room.  The Drowsy Chaperone speaks to anyone who has ever been transported by the theatre.”  Be sure to visit Stubhub.com and get your Drowsy Chaperone tickets.
