Aiken Joins Spamalot

American Idol finalist Clay Aiken will have to impress a few more people other than Simon Cowell starting tonight.  Aiken makes his Broadway debut this evening in the hit production of Monty Python’s Spamalot.  He will assume the roles of Sir Robin, Guard and Brother Maynard, all characters that were originated on Broadway by Tony winner David Hyde Pierce.  Aiken is scheduled to continue with the role through May 4.  Also joining the Spamalot cast are Hannah Waddingham and Christopher Sieber who is returning to his original roles as Sir Galahad/The Black Knight/Price Herbert’s Father.
