In the Heights Star Hosts Benefit

Priscilla Lopez, star of the hit musical “In the Heights” will be hosting a benefit for the A-T Children’s Project on January 21.  The event is called A Very Special Evening and will be held at the Clark Studio Theatre at the Samuel B. and David Rose building at Lincoln Center.  The A-T Children’s Project supports scientific research that is aimed at finding a cure and improving the lives of all children with ataxia telangiectasia.  The disease is a fatal genetic ailment that affects a variety of body systems and children rarely survive beyond their teens.

Priscilla Lopez, who is strongly dedicated to the cause is adored among Broadway fans, won a Best Featured Actress in a Musical Tony Award for her performance in “A Day in Hollywood/A Night in the Ukraine” and was also nominated for her work in the original cast of “A Chorus Line.”  The acclaimed actress is known for hosting every benefit for the A-T Children’s Project since its conception in 1994.  Be sure to support her charitable cause and also don’t miss her onstage!  Get your pair of In the Heights tickets from Stubhub.com.
