The hit production of The Little Shop of Horrors begins tonight with actors Hal Linden, Christiane Noll an Josh Lamon. Linden, who is a Tony Award winner is known for his Emmy-winning work on television’s “Barney Miller.” In this production Linden portrays flower shop owner Mr. Mushnik while Noll, who hails from both Frankenstein and Jekyll & Hyde plays Audrey and Lamon from the show Wicked takes on the role as Seymor.
According to press notes posted on Playbill.com Little Shop of Horrors is “based on the 1960 cult movie of the same name. The plot concerns an inadequate young florist’s assistant who cultivates a plant that feeds on human blood and flesh.” The Little Shop of Horrors is scheduled to run through February 3, so there is plenty of time to purchase tickets. It will certainly be a bone chilling show about the unusual goings on in a flower shop-perhaps the most unlikely place for a horrific deeds.
