Crawling Around on a Hot Tin Roof!

Theatre patrons should be thrilled.  One of theater’s best shows, called “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof” is now up in lights on Broadway.  Not only that but for the first time, an all African-American star-studded cast acted out the tale of family greed, lies and sexual tension.  The main stars in this production are: the legendary James Earl Jones as Big Daddy, Academy Award actor Terrance Howard, Tony Award winner Anika Noni Rose and the beloved on-television wife of Bill Cosby, Phylicia Rashad.  Together these talented actors put on a show that is filled with outrageous tension, terrible lies and bad deeds.  It is bound to keep audience members on the edge of their seats.

According to press notes on Playbill.com, “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof is the 1955 Pulitzer-Prize winning Mississippi set tale that includes a dying patriarch whose cotton crop fortune is up for grabs, an ex-jock son who now spends his life boozing and living in regret while unable to give his wife a child and Big Mama who is unfortunately facing the inevitable loss of her husband.”  It is bound to make you fall in love with theater all over again.  So for a good time, be sure to get your pair of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof tickets before they all sell out!
