Adam Kantor Makes Broadway Debut!

The musical production of Rent welcomes a new member to the Broadway cast tonight.  Adam Kantor a graduate from Northwestern University and he begins performances in the acclaimed role of Mark Cohen and he succeeds the actor Harley Jay in the role that was created by Anthony Rapp.  The New York production of Rent takes place at the Nederlander Theater and features such theater performers as: Declan Bennett, Michael McElroy and Rodney Hicks.

Kantor hails from the the Great Neck, New York and he performed several roles while at his time at the Northwestern University.  He starred in “Cymbeline” and “In the Bubble.”  Rent was written by the late Jonathan Larson and is directed Michael Greif.  It first opened on Broadway on April 29, 1996 and it has won the Tony Award for the Best Musical and it also won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama.  Next time you are in the Big Apple, make sure to check out the talents of Adam Kantor in this acclaimed production with your very own pair of Rent tickets.
