Kerry Butler to Release New Album

Kerry Butler is planning to release her debut solo album in May and her many fans are certainly excited about the prospect of a new album from this talented performer. The CD will be called “Faith, Trust and Pixie Dust” and it will includes songs like: “This Only Happens in the Movies,” and “When You Wish Upon a Star.” Butler was quoted in a statement on Playbill.com as saying, “I’ve wanted to do an album for a long time, and with success of Xanadu, the Timing seemed right. Recording the Xanadu recording for PS Classics was such a joyous experience, we decided to continue our relationship on my solo album.”

Kerry Butler is also known for staring on Broadway as Audrey in “Little Shop of Horrors,” and she portrayed Penny Pingleton in the original Broadway cast of Hairspray. Her other credits include: Belle in Beauty and the Beast, Eponinie in Les Miserables and Ms. Jones in Blood Brothers. She obviously has a great talent and the new album will showcase her incredible skills as a renowned singer.
