Bartlett Sher Directs South Pacific

South Pacific is a critically acclaimed production that has garnered many awards over the years and standing at the helm is the world renowned director Bartlett Sher, who has earned Tony nominations over the years for both his direction of “The Light and the Piazza” and also for the revival of “South Pacific.”  Sher has previously explained on Playbill.com, “With something like South Pacific, getting that space in motion and transformation was really a joy.  It led to the kind of epic quality of the story.”  The Lincoln Center production of “South Pacific” has nabbed 11 Tony nominations, including Best Revival of a Musical, Best Direction of a Musical and Best Leading Actress and Actor for O’Hara and Szot.
