New Cast Members Join August: Osage County

August: Osage County has proved that it is certainly worthy of not just one Tony Award, but several, including one for Best Play.  In addition the much heralded musical on Broadway is set to welcome several new members to the Broadway clan on June 17.  Academy Award winner Estelle Parsons will step into the role of Violet Weston in the comedy-infused drama by Tracy Letts.  Some other new faces that will be joining the cast of: Jim True-Frost, Frank Wood and Robert Foxworth.  All of these actors promise to deliver some impressive talents to this already appreciated show.

According to press notes posted on Playbill.com August: Osage County is Letts’ Pulitzer Prize winning story and is the “explosively funny comedy-drama focusing on the Weston family following the disappearance of the family’s patriarch.”  It is a show that can be enjoyed by many different theater fans, so make sure to tell all of your friends and family members and get your own pair of August: Osage County tickets.
