Spamalot Gets New King in June

A new king will be crowned in the London production of Spamalot.  Sanjeev Bhaskar will join the Spamalot cast on June 23 as King Arthur, King of the Britons.  The production is also nearing an end and is prepared to close on January 3, 2009.  The show has been playing at the Palace Theatre since October 2006 and it will have enjoyed an over two year run since it first opened.  Bhaskar was last seen on the West End stage and some of his film appearances include “Scoop,” “Anita and Me,” “Notting Hill” and “The Guru.”

Bhaskar is going to join a well known cast that also includes the Swedish reality TV star Nina Soderquist as The Lady of The Lake and Gerard Carey as Prince Herbert and Ross Dawes as Sir Robin.  The show has become immensely popular throughout Britain and is also enjoyed by many theater patrons from around the world.  Make sure that you don’t miss this show, see it before it closes, get your own pair of Spamalot tickets from Stubhub.com.
