Move Aside Hollywood, Les Miz Is Here!

It’s going to be a starry night at the Hollywood Bowl.  Les Miserables is in town for the weekend and it’s premiere in the City of Stars begins tonight and lasts through the weekend.  The production is complete with a star-studded cast and will likely draw in thousands of spectators eager to catch a glimpse of one of the most famous plays of all time.

Les Miz was first presented by Cameron Mackintosh and The Royal Shakespeare Company at the Barbican Theatre in October 1985.  The musical then transferred to the West End’s Palace Theatre, where it continued to play for 19 years.  On Broadway the musical ran from March 12, 1987-May 18,2003 and won eight Tony Awards, including one for Best Musical.  The recent Broadway revival played from November 9, 2006-January 6, 2008.  The musical features songs like: “Bring Him Home,” “I Dreamed a Dream” and “On My Own.”  Do you love Les Miz?  Get your own pair of Les Miz tickets from Stubhub.com.
