Spring Awakening Tour Adds Cast Members

Wake up and get yourself to a production of Spring Awakening!  The complete casting for the national tour of the Tony winning musical has been announced with a pre-tour engagement in San Diego on August 15.  Kyle Riabko and Blake Bashoff will head the in the roles of Melchior and Moritz.  The duo will also be joined by Christy Altamare and Steffi D.  The musical has been a big hit around the world and likely this national tour will draw in more crowds.

According to an article printed by Playbill.com, Spring Awakening is based on the 1891 play by Frank Wedekind.  The musical has won eight 2007 Tony Awards including one for Best Musical.  Several songs featured in the show are: “All That’s Known,” “And Then There Were None,” “The Dark I Know Well” and “The Guilty Ones.”  The musical made its world premiere Off-Broadway at the Atlantic Theater Company in June 2006 and then it transfered to Broadway the following November.  Don’t miss the show, get your pair of Spring Awakening tickets from Stubhub.com.
