Hair is Extended Through September 14

According to Playbill.com, Shakespeare in the Park has announced that the production of Hair has been extended for a third time now at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park.  According to the artistic director Oskar Eustis, “Hair has touched a nerve and captured the spirit of the times.  Nothing is more exciting than being in the Delacorte right now and seeing this 40-year-old musical reach audiences as if it was written yesterday.  We are thrilled to announce our third and final extension.”

There are many different talented cast members in the production of Hair, some of them include: Christopher J. Hanke, Will Swenson, Patina Renea Miller and Jackie Burns, among many others.  The production is based on the book and lyrics by James Rado and Gerome Ragni and music by Galt MacDermot.  Hair made theater history for its rock ‘n roll anti-establishment concept.  Don’t miss out on this lively and energetic show that will have you singing along to all of the catchy songs!  Get your Hair tickets today!
