Large Cast in Toronto’s Sound of Music!

Broadway’s own Burke Moses is set to play Captain Von Trapp opposite the reality TV audition winner Elicia MacKenzie in the new Toronto production of The Sound of Music.  There is a cast of 51 performers in the upcoming show and leading the cast in the role of Maria is newcomer MacKenzie, who is set to perform the role six times a week.  There are many other great actors that will be appearing in the much loved musical that has been watched and enjoyed by many fans around the world.

The Sound of Music is still considered to be one of the most popular musicals of all time and the film starring Julie Andrews won the Best Picture Academy Award in 1965.  The score for the musical includes “My Favorite Things,” “Do-Re-Mi,” “Edelweiss,” “Climb Every Mountain,” “Sixteen Going on Seventeen” and “The Lonely Goatherd.”  Don’t miss out on such a great show in Toronto and make sure to get your own pair of The Sound of Music tickets.
