Tonight: A Midsummer Night’s Dream

The 45th season at the Hartford Stage officially kicks off tonight with Shakespeare’s classic production, A Midsummer Night’s Dream.  Local residents in Hartford, Connecticut are likely thrilled to have the much heralded production in their own town and everyone will want to jump on their chance to get there own pair of tickets.  The romantic comedy officially opens September 5 and continues through October 5.

According to press notes posted on Playbill.com A Midsummer’s Night Dream “follows four would-be lovers into an Athenian forest who soon find themselves caught up in the magical world of the Fairy Kingdom.  With entangled subplots and mismatched couples, A Midsummer Night’s Dream is one of Shakespeare’s most popular comedies.  Be sure to get your very own pair of A Midsummer Night’s Dream tickets.
