New Cast for Mama Mia!

Mama Mia is one of the biggest Broadway sensations. It was wildly popular on Broadway, and it is now one of the most recent hits on the big screen. With songs by ABBA, one of the most famous pop groups of all times, the show is not only a must see, it promises to be one of those classics that people will be watching for years to come.

The Broadway show has three new cast members: Sean Allen Krill joins the cast as Sam Carmichael, Allison Case is playing the staring role of bride-to-be Sophie and Chris Peluso is Sky. All three will be joining the cast at the Winter Garden Theatre on September 24. Sam Carmichael is the Broadway debut role for Sean Allan Krill, who did an amazing job in the part during the national tour. He has also been seen in the national tour of Thouroughly Modern Millie.

Allison Case played Crissy in the summer’s production of Hair at the Public Theatre, will also be making her debut performance on Broadway in this production. Chris Peluso has already been on Broadway in Assassins and Lestat, he also did an amazing job during the U.S. tour of Wicked.

Mama Mia is also marking a key point in its Broadway life, as it will be celebrating its seventh anniversary on Broadway this year. The musical is about a young woman who is about to be married and decides that she wants to find out who her father is. Unfortunately there are three possibilities. Hilarities ensue as she tries to discover which of these men is her actual father.
