Spector, Nolfi and Bogart Joining the Jersey Boys

On April 16th of this year, Jersey Boys celebrated their 1000 performance on Broadway! Since it first opened, the show has won a Tony Award for Best Musical, played to sold-out crowds, and been celebrated as one of Broadway’s favorite. The story of the Four Seasons, a group of four blue-collar boys from Newark, New Jersey who managed to make it big as music stars. It is a charming rags-to-riches story, with a lot of rock ‘n’ roll in between. The Four Seasons also stands out as one of the few American bands that managed to hold their own in the face of the “British Invasion” and come out strong in the end.

This season Jarrod Spector will be assuming the role of The Four Season’s lead singer Valli. Dominic Nolfi is stepping into the roll of Tommy DeVito. Matt Bogart joins the show as Nick Massi. All three of these actors are experienced on the stage, having given excellent performances in shows prior to this one. Spector has been seen in Les Miserables and national tours of Jersey Boys and Les Miserables. He has also been seen in Hamlet and Our Country’s Good.

Bogart was seen as Paul in the Kennedy Center production of Stephen Sondheim’s Company. On Broadway he has appeared in Aida, The Civil War, Miss Saigon and Smokey Joe’s Cafe. Nolfi’s credits include the La Jolla and Broadway productions of Jersey Boys, and Danny in the European tour of Grease.
