Eden Espinosa will be putting aside the Ozian green for the 1960s, in the new production of the musical Hair, starting in March. The musical is being produced by Jeffrey Richards and Jerry Frankel, whose most recent production, Spring Awakening, won several Tony Awards. Hair The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical is the story of a group of hippies in 1968, and the paths that they take as they struggle with the issues of their day.
Hair tickets are currently available, and previews will begin on March sixth. The musical will be playing at the Al Hirshfield Theater in New York. Espinosa will be joining the cast in the leading role of Sheila, a part originally played by Lynn Kellogg on Broadway. Hair tickets are currently being sold at StubHub.com.
