Pageant of the Masters - Laguna Beach

The Pageant of the Masters is taking place this summer in Laguna Beach, California. The city is a known center of modern arts and culture and will be presenting the event in lieu of the Festival of Arts that is taking place starting July 8 and ending August 31. The Pageant of the Masters is the most famous attraction at the festival, presenting some of the greatest artists and their works of art to the public.

The presentation features ninety minutes of “living pictures,” faithful art re-creations of classic and contemporary works.  These are presented in an outdoor ampitheater with a live orchestra, beautiful costumes, live narration, and much more. The event is in the tradition of the tableau, a common practice during the time of such writers as Louisa May Alcott and is often used in haunted houses and other similar works of physical art. Pageant of the Masters tickets are a great experience and a great way to appreciate and pay tribute to the arts.
