33 Variations tickets are a great way to enjoy some fantastic acting, and to further explore the mind of one of the world’s greatest composers. The play tells the story of Beethoven’s obsession with a trivial watlz, as he repeatedly creates new variations on the simple, repeating 49 second composition by a music publisher. The story follows modern-day musicologist Katherine Brandt, played by Jane Fonda, who is desperately seeking the reason behind Beethoven’s obsession.
