Several More Presenters Announced for Tony Awards

We announced last week that Doogie Howser himself (aka Neil Patrick Harris) will be the main presenter for the upcoming 63rd Annual Antoinette Perry “Tony” Awards, and this morning several more names were announced as additional presenters for the June 7 event. Joining Neil Patrick Harris onstage at this year’s Tony Awards ceremony will be several of the biggest names in the entertainment industry, including Will Ferrell, Jane Fonda, John Stamos, Susan Sarandon, Colin Hanks, Jeff Daniels, Kate Burton, Kristin Chenoweth, Marcia Gay Harden, Nicole Kidman, Jessica Lange, Angela Lansbury, Anne Hathaway, Oliver Platt, Chandra Wilson, Piper Perabo, Kevin Spacey, Lucie Arnaz, Edie Falco, Hallie Foote, Audra McDonald, Carrie Fisher, David Hyde Pierce, James Gandolfini, Frank Langella and Hope Davis.

The above-mentioned presenters will join Harris onstage and announce the night’s performances, also announcing and presenting awards for each of the Tony Awards’ 27 categories. The ceremony will be held at the Radio City Music Hall and will be broadcasted by CBS on June 7 as a three-hour special. This year’s Tony Awards are presented by the American Theatre Wing and the Broadway League.
