People magazine’s “Sexiest Man Alive” is making his way back to Broadway, and he’s bringing a familiar face with him. The New York Post recently reported that actor/singer Hugh Jackman will be joining the cast of the upcoming production of A Steady Rain, and James Bond’s Daniel Craig is set to co-star in the Keith Huff production. While no official announcement has been made yet regarding details of the production, this Jackman-fronted musical is sure to be a thrilling crowd-pleaser.
Jackman, who is best known for his hunky role in films ranging from the newly-released X-Men Origins: Wolverine to classics like Kate and Leopold, Swordfish and Van Helsing, has also made runs with Broadway before, most notably in the musical The Boy from Oz, for which he earned a Tony Award. His new co-star in A Steady Rain, Daniel Craig, will make his Broadway debut in the upcoming musical, though he has also starred in several big films such as Quantum of Solace, the Golden Compass, Defiance, Casino Royale, the Invasion, Infamous and Renaissance.
The upcoming endeavor A Steady Rain tells the story of two policemen whose friendship is tested with a blowup incident, and both Jackman and Craig are sure to make this production a wildly popular one.
